UPDATE: BOIL WATER NOTICE RESCINDED
The Boil Water Notice for the HUD Subdivision and all other affected areas has been lifted by the State of Alaska and is no longer in effect.
Water service has been restored, water quality testing has been completed, and the water has been determined to be safe for normal use.
Before Using Your Water:
Please allow cold water to run for at least five (5) minutes at each faucet or water line to flush the plumbing with fresh, safe water.
- Be sure to flush:
- All faucets and taps
- Misters
- Drinking fountains
- Ice makers (discard the first full bin of ice)
- Soda or beverage machines
- Any other water-using fixtures or equipment
If you experienced a water outage or low water pressure on July 8, 2026, please complete this flushing process before using your water.
The City of Dillingham thanks residents for their patience and cooperation throughout the repair process and during the Boil Water Notice.

JULY 8, 2026 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
The affected area is shown on the attached map.
Until Further Notice, Boil City Water in areas where the water was shut off for two minutes before potable use.

Please help distribute this notice to anyone who has City Water and experienced an outage or low water pressure earlier today 07/08/2026
Important Information:
- The community water filling station behind the Senior Center will also be subject to the Boil Water Notice.
- An alternate source of potable water will be available at the Harbor Office during normal business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
- The Dillingham Senior Center will be unable to provide lunch service until further notice due to the Boil Water Notice.

WATER SERVICE NOTICE
Scheduled Water Service Interruption – HUD Subdivision
The City of Dillingham will shut off water service to the HUD Subdivision beginning at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, to repair a water leak.
Water service will remain off until further notice.
Once water service has been restored, a Boil Water Notice will be in effect for all areas affected by the water shutoff. The Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until it is lifted by the State of Alaska.
