Tuesday - Saturday: 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Sunday/Monday: Open ~ 12 Noon to 1:45 PM for Fish Waste

 

Aluminum Can Recycling is available at the Senior Center

Everyone is expected to sort their garbage and recycle

  • SEPARATE: Glass, Metal Cans, other Metal Items, and Alkaline Batteries from your trash.  The melted product will cause damage to the incinerator.  Download a flyer from the Supporting Documents Section
  • Empty, dried-up paint cans go to the metal yard
  • For all non-oil-based paint cans, not dried up, you'll be directed to a container van.  The landfill DOES NOT accept oil-based paint

Refrigerators and freezers Landfill.  Landfill operators are certified to remove Freon. Landfill charges
Scrap metal/appliances Landfill Landfill charges
Smoke alarms Return to manufacturer  
Tires - remove rims Landfill. Rims will go in the scrap metal bin. Landfill charges
Vehicles Landfill.  Remove all fluids. Landfill charges
