In April of 2020 the City of Dillingham, Alaska, stood up its Emergency Operations Center in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The goal of the EOC was to provide information to the community and travelers, secure necessary supplies and assistance to protect the community, and provide general support in COVID-19 related matters to other City departments so that their employees can concentrate on the maintenance of general governmental functions.

In response to the lessening impact of the pandemic on the community as of 1 July 2021 the City of Dillingham shut down its Emergency Operation Center and incorporated the remaining necessary functions into the regular administrative organization of the City.
