City of Dillingham Projects Under Construction Page

The City of Dillingham will post updates on active construction projects to this page and include information about projects nearing the construction phase.  Information will also be disseminated by the contractor, and through radio announcements as well as posts to the City's Facebook page.  Please check back for the latest information.

 

DILLINGHAM DOWNTOWN STREETS REHABILITATION

*Please note that the Dillingham Downtown Streets Rehabilitation project is a State of Alaska, DOT&PF project.  This is not a City project.  More information on the project can be found through the State's navigator system.  The following is provided for general informational purposes only and should be verified through the State DOT&PF:

  • This project is scheduled to begin in June.
  • Dillingham Hotel Demolition is expected to begin on July 6.
  • The balance of the project is expected during 2021.

 

WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Design and Construction Support:  CRW Engineering Group, LLC

Inspection and Materials Testing:  EMC Engineering, LLC

Project Contractor:  JJC Enterprises, Inc.

The Pre-Construction Conference took place on May 15.
This project is scheduled to begin on May 18.
Construction is expected to be phased as follows (see overview document at bottom of page):

  • Barge Access Road (Across from Liquor Store) - Sheet C6.1
  • 2nd Avenue (Upper City Dock/City Hall) - Sheet C6.2
  • D Street - Sheet C6.3
  • Main Street - Sheets C4.1, C4.2, C4.3
  • Kenny Wren/Kanakanak Road Crossing - Sheet C1.1

The contractor anticipates a 7 day per week schedule, working approximately 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a night shift to possibly be added at a later date.

DILLINGHAM STREETS REHABILITATION

Inspection and Materials Testing:  EMC Engineering, LLC

Project Contractor:  JJC Enterprises, Inc.

  • The Pre-Construction Conference for this project took place on April 22.
  • Pre-Site Cleaning is expected to take place in June.
  • The project is scheduled to begin on July 11 and end in early October.
  • The contractor anticipates a 7 day per week schedule, working approximately 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a night shift to possibly be added at a later date.
